The Speak Now cardigan is superior. The quality is unmatched compared to the 1989 cardigan. I get that the styles are different BUT my Speak Now cardigan never fell apart. I have a few loose purple strands come out even now and then BUT it’s still intact. Idk what happen with the 1989 cardigan launch :( Hopefully you have no further issues!!!
Luckily, mine didnt smell :) My 1989 one smells chemically, but the Speak Now cardigan was fine. I can’t seem to wash the smell out of my 1989 cardigan 😭. I washed mines twice with cold water, I used white vinegar, Oxy Clean and laundry soup and it doesn’t smell anymore. Thank you! I’m glad I’m not the only one!
