It was a little chilly out and I turned the temperature dial up for heat and had none. I have tried it numerous times in the past week and still no heat coming out of the vents. If the thermostat is stuck open, the engine temperature won't rise as quickly as expected and the ECM will go into protect mode because the lack of indicated normal temperature rise could also be from a bad sending unit.

At 55 °C (140 °F), the sensor resistance is 2.488 kilo ohms . The sensor resistance should read between these two values.Check coolant level, if low then top it off. The ECT won't work properly if there isn't coolant. If coolant is full then check into replacing the ECTs.
