There are really two groups of Dexcom users--those who it works flawlessly, and those that are constantly fighting with sensor/transmitter failures and/or dexcom support. That being said, if it doesn't come back after 2-3 calibrations, just take out the sensor and put a new one in. Call dexcom, explain what happened, they'll ship you a new sensor.
