Manaced to farm 500 gems in a few hours with some rank farming (not even 20 ranks from mid 190ties to 210) enough for 2 elder kais to max Vegito Blue. It kind of comes back to my fluctuations theory. They do appear on 21-1 but some days are noticibly luckier than others.
One of the best ways to farm incredible gems in Dokkan is to find the characters Launch or Pilaf. Pilaf gives you 10 for defeating him while Launch gives you 15.
