If you want it to go with less imprints you need to either set the cuddle multiplier really high so that you only need to cuddle once or twice and each cuddle will give lots of bonus, or change the growth …

When you imprint 100% creature, its stats are boosted by 20%, additionally you have 30% damage dealing and damage resistance, if the person riding it, have claimed it as a baby. Your damage buff is based on the imprint percenrage. If you, for example imprint for 50%, you have a 50% of 30% total damage/reduction. An easy formula would be x*30/100 with x being the percentage of imprint you have on your dino.
