Hello all, I pulled my 2014 Jeep Patriot 2.0L out the other day, drove for about a mile, and all of the sudden the red lightning bolt light came on simultaneous to the Traction Control light. I then lost power, and my gas pedal seemingly had no effect on the tach. It hovered between 1-3k, alternating between the extremes there.Once in a blue moon I have seen these Jeeps get stuck with the controls, but usually on the steering wheel. I would first disconnect the negative battery cable for about 30 minutes or so, then plug it back in to see if the light goes away. It could also be a bad 4WD lock switch. My thread, Trailer Thread.About two weeks later my husband is driving and the ABS, Traction Control, and SERV 4WD lights all illuminate. Took it to a dealer back home and they diagnosed it as a bad speed sensor on the front passenger tire. Replaced that and all lights go off. Fast forward to yesterday. It has been about two weeks with no issues.The Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system monitors air pressure in the four road tires (excludes spare). Pressure in the spare tire is not monitored. The base system does not specify how many tires are low or where they are located. The premium system does so. NOTE: Premium Tire Pressure Monitoring is the only system used on this vehicle.
