thfisher. 9 years ago. I would bid (Ebay) on a Century 100B (way more 100B than 100A) I got 2 that looked brand new. Price shipped to my house $11.00 on one and $13 on the other. When you get buying parts you will pay $5 to $7 plus shipping. Save your reel for parts or sell on ebay for parts reel.Overview of the Johnson Century 100B vintage spin cast fishing reel. This particular one dates between 1974 and 1979.This is a very nice vintage Johnson Century Model 100B spin cast reel. with it's original box and Johnson manual. The reel is stamped Johnson. Century, Model 100B, Made in USA and heel is stamped Made in USA. Measures approx. 3 5/16" long. 2 15/16" tall and 2 1/2" spool diameter.Century 115 is the immediate sucessor to 100B, Century 135 is equivalent to Citation 110B. These later reels are very similar in terms of drag and drive train, much different in appearance. The case, or frame of these reels differs in replacing separate sideplates with a plastic back cover that the metal front cover screws onto.
