I do my own nail design using whatever polish I want, let them dry for 24 hrs, then seal them with a gel top coat from BEETLES. The gel top coat in combination with the lacquer gives the soft gel structure and durability and the matte underside adheres much better to nail glue.

Acetone is much better and much faster at removing polish than nail polish remover. It also doesn't contain water: the worst chemical for our nails. I use a cheap oil around my fingers before applying acetone soaked cotton and my manicure clips to help mitigate the drying effect. Opi nail envy and jojoba oil.
