Depleting them with turtles isn't an option because you'd need a single HIGH BASE turtle per turret and that's assuming they're offline. The only other way is c4 bombing them but that's also VERY COSTLY. On a 20 by 20 by 20 metal base it'd take around 500-1000 c4. That's not even counting the possible turret death towers.

Here's where things get down right sketchy. These turret boxes were melting our tames health at an incredible rate. High level turtles with apprentice saddles were taking 21 per hit (which isn't much but I thought seemed higher than normal) and it took us about an hour just to tank the turret boxes!

Planning to build there in the near future. Heres a basic tutorial for the minimalistic/low costish single pillar towers my tribe uses. Start with 1* 2* 2 base pill box. Place ur generator so that the wire will come straight up through the middle of a pillar in one of the ceiling tiles.
