Dude, once you used the short throw in the S10, you will hate the stock shifter. Its so much more fun to drive now. Spending $ on performance mods for the 2.2 is a waste unless its force fed, you just dont get good results with the others. However, after rowing with it for > 10 years, my Hurst replacement was definetly one of the best mods to the truck. The reduction / percision is unbelievable.

I am factory nv3500.. it sounds like a supercharger. very confident with the core shifter. in no big rush, but have a chance to swap to nv4500. I have questions about sensors, and different driveshaft lengths for different years. I cannot seem to get through the new venture riddle on thisone.
