Estoc dark souls.
Not worth it IMO (unless you also want to use the most popular weapon, the Avelyn). A plain will probably do as much (might be close) and not require 20 in every stat. For reference a fire infused/buffed estoc will have over 260 fire AR and maybe 175-200 phys AR. A dark infused/buffed estoc will have over 300 dark AR and 175-200 physical.
It depends on ehat kind of weapons you like + build. But in general you want low weight and low requirements. Claymore, Zwie, Estoc, and Garg Halberd are all good. Would also recommend Falchion, Battle Axe or Mace for guard break if you need that for some reason. It's superior to +10 Magic when Int is higher than Str/Dex. from what i understand the buffed options are going to be higher dmg but only for the length of the buff, thats the drawback. so if youre going to faceroll your invasions then buff i guess. for invaders, proabably the way to go.

If you want to do pure-physical damage then you want 40 str and 12ish dex. However, it also infuses pretty well. Estoc doesn't scale that great, so Lightning is always nice. Chaos (at max) will probably outclass that, but fire damage seems less useful in PVP to me. If you are going STRAIGHT Strength/Dex hybrid then Regular ol' +15 will eventually be comparable, but not for a LONG time. The most damage you will get out of that thing in a single blow is +15 ...

Two pokes with the Estoc and then changing to the GS MH weapon R1s is a great way to murder people who are parry happy and try to parry you with fist weapons. You do the two pokes, then hit r1 for the GS swing, if they mash parry after the second poke the GS is slow ... Ricard's is the kind of balanced one if it takes a semblance of skill to use. All the rapiers are op. Estoc simply the best of them. In a weapon tier list you would have to go down 5 places to find a weapon that isn't a rapier. CB, Estoc, MLGS, Kumo and Great club are the tier 1 weapons. QFS, Gold Tracer, some kind of spear and Shotel will be tier 2. Tier 3 would be things that are viable but not as good as Tier 1 weapons, like Claymore, Great Scythe, whatever.
