Fallout 4 beginning stuck.
For some reason the quest glitches if you have too many quests starting at the vault, or even with one. Ran into that problem a long time ago when modding. One trick is to pull the CC items out (unless you got a mod manager that can disable them) along with any startup quest mods. Then start a new game or try exiting the vault

After my character said, "we have to get to the vault," the front door opened by itself, and I was able to leave the house. So yeah, this is clearly a bug affecting at least a handful of people.
