Usually an overlooked pet, this is one of the best Mage pets, even for Right Click Mages. This is due to the Mana Pool ability, and the extra Defense. Even if you swap to another pet like the Sheep Pet, this is still a useful pet for its Enchanting Exp Boost ability. A very cheap pet, outclassed by almost all others.

Depends on your hotkeys. I like to call mine the "uhc duels hotkeys". (1, 5 and 6) and put boom boom sword in 1, healing (wand) in 5, and aotv in 6. just run archer for f6 go with 3/4 sa tara helm 4 bones, ice spray, fot, aote, etc.. yeti/golem/griffin/drag F7 mage archer is like a 1.5-2b setup

This reply is a great start, but you will absolutely never be able to find a F7 party without a Hyperion Mage. Many say that it's not necessary to have a Hyperion, but it's become the golden standard nowadays. As far as for F6, namlaE is probably off to a great start.
