Jeep wrangler carplay not working.
Recently I purchased, received and have been using the Carlinkit3.0 USB dongle (carlinkitcarplay.com) which provides wireless connection to Apple's CarPlay. The Carlinkit3.0 device is about 4-5 inches that plugs into the USB port on my car. I then slip the carlinkit3.0 device into the nearby slot normally occupied by my phone.

I have had no problems. My jeep has a pioneer 1770nex which is the cheapest model and its CarPlay is wired. I’m pretty sure it’s not a CarPlay issue. The console USB connection comes from the center dash USB (if you take the center part off it’s the black micro USB connection on the right). I ended up using a micro USB to female USB in that spot and then plugged in an Apple charging wire, which I ran to the top of the dash.Connect your Apple iPhone to your Jeep Wrangler USB port using an Apple-approved Lightning-to-USB cable.
