Tmobile cellspot not working.
I switched to T-Mobile a few months ago and service has been great. I recently switched jobs and am working in relatively rural MD. The town itself has 5G and pretty great service. However, I work in an old building and the reception is terrible. Can’t even send texts or make calls. Wifi unfortunately isn’t an option either.
Unplug [power] modem, router, Cellspot, and all Ethernet cables. Plug the WAN port of the Cellspot to the WAN port of the modem (should be only one port on the modem). Plug the WAN port of the router in to the LAN port of the Cellspot. Plug the power cables in. I immediately called t mobile about this and they sent me a new 5g cellspot which also doesn’t work. Both cellspots cannot connect to the internet. I called AT&T, my ISP, and made sure the proper ports were open.
