You would get a scan tool compatible with your vehicle's communication system. If this is a newer diesel, then probably J1939 protocol is used. J1708 is typically used on older than 2002 ish.

Another Heim joint was put on the other side of the fuel injector pump level for the air throttle. We used cable and connectors purchased from Aircraft Spruce to connect the new throttle cable. The air throttle is a huge improvement over the King. Throttle response is immediate unlike the slow reacting King.

With a voltmeter you should NOT see any voltage on the ground side of the socket. Of course you need to have the lights in question activated at this time. If you cannot get measurements inside the socket, you need to get to the wires. I don't have a link for the stainless blades but I did replace the impellor and gasket on my box mount Sanicon in my 2007 Dynasty. The impellor and gasket were Thetford part #70475.
