Here is a rack of Belgian FALs with combo devices with wrench flats in different positions.. Yes, FN produced both with the high and low flats. But none of the other FN licensed manufactureres produced it with the high flats, so the high position can be used for identification. If they are low, will have to verify by millmarks if present.This place is a ghost town compared to what it used to be. I want to see how many different people actually frequent the Falfiles now. The Izzy HB set will fit, but you will need to get the butt plate and hardware for it as none of the stuff on the SAW stock will interchange except the recoil spring tube nut and the tang screw. There is enough recoil and violently-moving parts that the grease/oil will get slung around until it coats enough of the pieces that need a coating. Parts kit is an early StG 58 made by FN with matching serial numbers. Modifications I made include swapping out the entire lower assembly for a DSA Para kit with the Battle Rifle Stock and ACOG scope mount, swapping out the two...

Sounds possible the seller has been trying to move these with little luck. And we know it's possible because I'm convinced the vast majority of our little FAL world exists right here on these forums, and outside of these forums our little rifles are little more than old has beens with little to no love given.
