No, you always turn them around facing you when you pick them up, but once they are standing, you can just hit right or left on the right stick to hit them which spins them around. That sucks. I remember it being patched out of 2K16 for no reason at all. Back then you would hold one of the shoulder buttons and pick them up for it to work.

First custom matches i make for universe mode are finisher matches that serve as promos. 1v1, 1v2, 1v3, 2v2, 2v3, 3v3, and all of them start with 3 finishers. I've also made multi person elimination matches, because they are better for stories sometimes. 2 out of 3 tables is a fun one.
