Sadly after a couple of years of generally good experiences with Simply Business, I've just been stung by their automatic renewal sham - 25% increase in premium followed by theft of the money from my account 9 days before the policy was due to renew. No quote, no reminder.

To work this out, 10% of our customers paid up to £114.35 a year for a landlord buildings cover only policy between 1st April 2023 - 30th June 2023. Equivalent to £9.53 per month based on a monthly cost when paying for the policy in one annual payment.The company have refused to admit any kind of liability despite my building not being covered for a full 12 months.
