According to Consumer Reports, they both have average or better reliability, with slight edge to Acura. Road test performance results clearly favor the BMW in all these magazines.

For the 2022 RDX the A-Spec Advance is $4000 more than an A-Spec and $2000 more than an Advance. I'm sure the MDX 2023 pricing would fall in line with these if they offer an A-Spec Advance for 2023 which seems likely. For me I'm not sure the A-Spec Advance would be worth that much more money.
