Ark survival ascended tether distance fix.
It runs flawlessly at 54fps on medium (light bloom off). That $200 card runs better than my 4080. If you have an old Radeon card, check it out. my 6600 ran at like 40 fps on low with fog and clouds disabled. I upgraded to a 7700 XT that can get around 75 on medium, but it crashes a lot more often than the 6600 did. #10.
The tether is now set at 5 or 9, but somehow we can still separate and glide all over the map without triggering this minimal tether, so long as we don't change zones. It is almost as though the tether setting is no longer real. Change it to 99, unless you go into a cave or smth it shouldn't pull you. Yup, this is a known problem. Your tether distance is too high, and by some unearthly force that makes you activate hyper speed when you touch water. Just lower your distance to something more reasonable. I'd take a bet that you have it set insanely high so you could just pretend it doesn't exist. #1.
