Nov 11, 2023. Failed after two years. As part of a 24kW Generac generator project, we installed three of these units (Generac 7000 50 Amp Smart Management Module) to manage loads. Noticed that the oven was not working one morning, and we traced the problem back to this load shed module. The module serving our upstairs AC went out. A few ideas we had were: 1) The electrician said he could install a 100A relay, and feed that relay off a separate circuit that comes off the panel, and put the load shed in the path of the relay control.
