This heater is a GREAT drain on the 12 volt system. (240 amps). The heater comes on when the ignition is turned on and runs providing heat to the intake of the turbo when cold starting. Hence the "Wait to start" light on the dashboard. If you activate the start before this light goes out, you will overload the circuit and possibly the fuse will go.
