Posted April 3, 2016. I have a piece of Chameleon armor as well as a few Stealth Boys under my belt, but one of the most annoying things about being invisible is trying to read the Pip-Boy. The white text against glaring bright green highlights is painful and sometimes even impossible to read, and the map is just one big eye-burning rectangle.

While using first person this really screwed wirh my Character model ( made his arm look very thin in comparison to everything else) wich i didnt like. So i deleted the mod to fix this. Quicksave/Save and Reload while talking to someone. Switch between third person and first person. Give the pip-boy back through console commands. Change Resolution. Change FOV. Change Display. My Pip-Boy is permanantly invisible. I can still open up the pip boy and mvoe around in the menus and select stuff like normal but I only have audio cues to go off on as the entire thing is invisible. The one in the power armor is still visible but you can hardly do anything while inside the armor.
Installed Pip-Pad, Pip-Boy still visible on arm. I reinstalled the game and mods recently (after a year or so of not playing), and I cannot recall how to hide the Pip-Boy without outright removing it (which also removes the Pip-Pad). Can be hard to navigate the pip boy to check, but if you don't care about mutations you can take some radaway or use a decontamination arch to remove it. #5. Assuming you have the same invisible pipboy problem I did, try this. In the console, type "player.inv". This will list all of the items in your inventory in the console. There should be a listing for the Pipboy near the top of the list, with a corresponding item id. Now, in the console, type "player.equipitem <pipboyid>".
