This is thanks to its Exotic perk causing Telesto to fire Void projectiles that stick to objects. Fusion rifles with chill clip should not be used for boss DPS. It is only good for champions because of the double duty it performs for freezing and shattering. Riptide is still good for DPS with either Vorpal or Golden Tricorn. The top DPS fusions though are still exotics: Telesto, Merciless, Vex, and Jotun.Telesto is great for groups of enemies while Merciless is better for enemies with large health pools.
