I would start with 385 if I wanted to shoot 9s, and if I wanted to go smaller to 9.5 or 10s, I would start with 380. Just my experience with 3 different 410s and you will definitely get better performance out of TSS 9.5 or 10 in the 410.

I have killed 2 at 14 steps with the Indian Creek .390 in my 301 & Viper 1oz #10s. I tried several chokes. The factory actually was good enough to hunt with this load.
