Virtus has the flexibility to be whatever you want with just a barrel swap. Rattler can only be rattler unless you buy a whole new upper. The reason the Virtus has a special trigger is because the hammer interfaces with the firing pin latch on the Virtus upper a certain way. So you need an MCX trigger with a Virtus upper. Be careful not to buy ones for the rattler or legacy MCX as the length of the upper receiver handguard extension varies, however if you have a rattler (the shortest upper) virtuous concepts makes a gap spacer that will let rattlers run Virtus handguards.Basically, legacy MCX was shipped black anodized, but demo units were shown tanodized. All upper conversion kits are black anodized. All LE/Mil guns are black anodized unless special ordered in whatever color the contract requires (the Berlin guns come to mind).
