Oct 23, 2021 · I'm currently fighting the Unbidden end game crisis. I believe I destroyed all the dimensional portals (the Unbidden don't control any more systems). I noticed that you can either take a choice to seal the dimensional portal or not; sealing it adds another section to the astral rift plot, which then concludes. Not sealing it ends the rift plot immediately and generates a wormhole. I didn’t check what’s on the other side of the wormhole, but it’s presumably some kind of threat. It's bugged out. Leave the system and allow another fleet to spawn and retake the system, then enter as close to the portal as you can get and try to focus it down before the system control station dies.
