The one mod that half worked was corybsa's Custom XP mod, but the exp stopped at level 6, at which point the thresholds reverted to the default values.Engage More in Combats. I am pretty sure a modder will make a mod for random encounters when the game comes out. I think random encounters would be great in BG3.
