The glock 26 is thick compared to the shield. Thickness matters for both comfort and concealment. As long as the 26 is not too thick for you then that's the better choice IMO. If the reason you don't carry the 19 is because it's too thick, the 26 is no thinner and not much lighter. Being able to use the same mags is nice.
