Marlin 783 bolt.
At one time, I ended up with seveal 22 Mag bolt guns. They all shot different ammo to slightly different poi and group size. The 783 is the one I kept and mainly because of the fit and feel and also, it tended to group nearly all ammo to the closest common poi and pretty consistent 1-1.5" groups at 100y.
One being a Marlin 783. Gun has been thoroughly cleaned. Not every time but occasionally, the rifle will fire when closing the bolt. Very dangerous. I wondered if the striker cam pin might be worn or not properly inserted. I have ordered a replacement from Numrich. Visually it does not seem to be worn/damaged.
