SS downsides are pretty badly overblown, most likely because people frequently pair it with a Legendary Binder. The extra Suspension boost makes it more painful when the orb gets weird. I'm not sure if it's even possible to defeat him solo with other characters unless you have ground-breaking gear that most people probably hacked into the game.

But with Borderlands content I have never been disappointed with going solo. On solo it's fun because it's more challenging. The support character builds like maya isn't worth going down that skill set of your gonna only go solo. Of course you should try everything you can to experiment. Oct 7, 2012 · Imo, borderlands 2 is much more defense focused until you acquire awesome guns and even then, enemies can still down you with one rocket or some quick bullets to the dome. At least with this build I can not worry about my aggro, have my thrall take out groups of weaker enemies all while I regenerate health and shields.
