Tivo remote not working with new batteries.
318 posts · Joined 2014. #4 · Oct 9, 2014. I have the new slide pro with the dongle and recently got the low battery warning. Battery was at 30%. Changed the batteries, and haven't seen warning since. And yeah, I have to use the dongle because I have subpar RF in my base Roamio. J.

The only way to restore RF function was to reboot the Mini. Since it was a 'new' in warranty Mini, TiVo sent a replacement.Turn off the soundbar by pressing the power button. It's usually located on the top or left side of the device. Unplug the soundbar from the power outlet. Press the power button and hold it for 30 seconds. Plug the soundbar back into the power outlet. It's working now on one of my two Samsung TV's, thanks! No longer seeing the "Not Available" message on one, the other I'm still seeing the message. It is a problem with one of the remotes - most likely the Harmony. Even though you bought it in the UK it is probably using a USA version of the ENTER button. When TiVo detects the IR signal of a USA Enter keypress, it makes some changes software wise which take effect until you reboot. Reboot, bering up the live tv guide, press ENTER.
A brand new remote would not need to have a global reset. You may have to go into the TiVo remote settings menu and reset the existing remote pairings, but not usually. Often times when there is a problem getting a remote to RF pair it is because the TiVo isn't on the screen that it is supposed to be on to complete the RF pairing process.
