Made it half way there (I-80 West) and noticed 4 LO flashing and TRAC OFF/CHECK ENGINE light on. Headed over to Toyota dealer that truck was purchased from - they reviewed codes and said it was showing a "lean" code. Asked me if I put E85 in it (nope).

Now if I erase the code the 4lo light disappears like it should but then my 4lo works but while it’s blinking it doesn’t because this has to do with the check engine light. Today on the freeway on the way home from a 500 Km round trip the engine warning light came on, followed by the 4LO light flashing and then the slip light came on. This all happened within 15 seconds of each other. Then you can stop put the truck in neutral and then puch the 4LO button. The truck will not go into 4LO without first being in 4HI.
